Set the Strike Location
This section describes the interaction between the machine and various cuts. The specifications,
in most cases, are made to order from the factory via customer guidelines. The information here,
describes some of the basic setups.
Use the indexes on the machine to set the position of the strike.
Setting the Index Stops
In most cases, the
Index Stops
are preset allowing the index to be flipped up out of the way or
flipped down to create a stop.
To set the distance of cut from top of the jamb follow these instructions:

Loosen the set collars and bar stop.

Slide inner most set collar in or out as necessary, reading the tape from the inner
most edge of the set collar.
Index
Location cuts are referenced from the top edge of
the jamb to the middle of the cut. Flip down stops
are used as a reference.
