About the Six Shooter System
The Six Shooter system simultaneously drives six screws into the jamb and the door to attach the
hinges.This section describes the assemblies of the Six Shooter. Below is a general description of
how to use the Six Shooter.
1.
Screws are poured into the Hopper at the top of the machine, where they are auto
-
matically sorted.
2.
Six screws are air injected though tubes to the screw gun at the bottom of the six
shooter.
3.
The Six Shooter is mounted on an overhead track that is precisely aligned to ensure
the hinge is properly position into the pocket at each hinge location.
4.
The operator:
a.places a hinge to the magnetic indexing fixture
b.rolls the Six Shooter over to the hinge location and pivots it into the “H”
block.
c.drives all six screws into the door and jamb.
d.presses the 'Reset' switch then raises the Six Shooter and retracts screw driv

ers out of the pocket
