Grease Locations Cutter Head
Identify zerk fittings and apply EP-2 grease. Find the X, Y and Z axis rails to identify bearings.
Some bearings may be difficult to get access to. Use an extender to reach tight areas. Make sure to
Lockout/Tagout
before maintenance. For recommended greasing schedule,

Hinge Covers will have to be
removed.
Cutting Head Base
The Cutting Heads have many of linear bearings. When greasing, it can be helpful to group the
bearings action. Below is an isolated view of the
Cutter Head Base
with the
Cutter Head Tool Box
ghosted.
Cutting Head Y Axis:
Moves the entire head
assembly in the Y axis
direction
2 rails 3 bearings per rail
Cutting Head X Axis:
Moves the entire head assembly
in the X axis direction
2 rails 2 bearings top rail, 4 bearings bottom rail
