INTRUCTIONS FOR USE
One-handed staple guns TT 14
Always follow basic safety instructions when using the tool. Failure to follow all instructions listed below, may result in electric
shock, fire and/or serious personal injury.
Read carefully these instructions before use your tool and save them.
Read carefully and strictly follow the instructions for use and maintenance stated in this manual. The manufacturer
will not accept any responsibility for damage caused by improper use of the tool. The tool label is the only legal
identification reference. Please maintain it in good condition, do not remove it or change its data. The customer is
responsible for whatsoever alteration he should effect.
Safety regulations
• The supply voltage must correspond to the voltage shown on the stapler.
• The electrical supply must be single-phase and in accordance with the standards in force, Never connect the tool to a
three-phase supply or to motopowered generators.
• Avoid body contact with grounded or earth surfaces (such as pipes, radiators, ranges, refrigerators).
• Use only one approved extension cable of the prescribed size, with safety markings.
• When operating the tool outside, use only extension cords approved for outdoor use.
• Cable, plug, extension cable and socket must be kept in perfect conditions: avoid damaging them when working.
• Keep cable away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
• Do not use the stapler if some parts are missing or are damaged.
• Do not drag the stapler along or unplug it by pulling the cable.
• Do not use or keep the stapler in wet or dusty locations, near water, dangerous liquids or gases. Never operate a wet tool.
• Use and store the stapler in a safe place, away from children and unauthorised people. Always wear approved safety gogg
les when operating the stapler and follow all the safety regulations in force.
• Avoid visitors may touch the tool or the extension cable, all visitors should be kept away from the work area.
• Do not rest a hand on the trigger during loading operations or as a habit; touch and use the trigger only during stapling and
nailing operations.
• Dress properly. When operating a tool outside, rubber gloves and anti-slip shoes are reccomended.
• Never point the stapler at other people, animals or yourself.
• Always disconnect the stapler from the power supply after use and also remove the staples/brads before performing any
operation on the stapler.
• Do not operate the stapler empty, in the air and into materials for which it is not intended.
• The work area on which the machine is used must be cleared up. Disorder is a potential cause of accidents.
• Do not play with the stapler. Remember it’s a tool.
• If you have to carry out maintenance, unjamming, free the work place, move the tool to another place or give it to someone,
before always unplug the tool and empty the magazine.
• Before each use, check the tool, cable and plug for defects. Check safety devices for proper functioning. Let defects
repaired by experts only.
• Pay attention and watch what you are doing. Use common sense, even avoid unsafe situation or unbalanced positions,
particularly when you are tired.
• This electric tool is in conformity with the relating safety standards. To avoid any danger use only genuine spare parts.
• Always wear hear protection at environment noise level > 85 dB(A) due to risk of impaired hearing.
ATTENTION: DANGER
This tool MUSTN’T be used to place electric wires.
• For any enquiry or for further technical information, contact the Service Department.
WARNING
• Do not exceed the maximum average staple/nail drive rate. If the stapler overheats, leave it to cool down.
• Do not alter the stapler.
• Always use genuine kwb staples/ brads.
• Keep clean the connexions and all the active parts of the tool.
• The fastening force may be impaired by extension cord too long or too thin, by insufficient voltage, by deteriorated
plugs.
