Separate Como OT sub-base from user 
interface with use of flat blade 
screwdriver 

Tilt user interface from sub-base by 
hinging from the top. 

Mount sub-base at desired location by 
utilizing field supplied fasteners through 
mounting holes 

Make wiring connections: 
1. Sub-base OT communication terminals 

1 and 2 

2. Sub-base Outdoor Temperature 

Sensor to terminals 5 and 6 

3. Connect OT communication wires to 

Viessmann Vitodens X3.3 and X3.4. 
Tilt front of control down, remove rear 
cover to reveal X3 plug.
