GENERATOR MAINTENANCE
The generator of your KYMCO UXV500iG has been engineered to be reliable and easy-to-maintain. The generator
does not need period maintenance other than a monthly check of the GFCI switches. Please review this section for
the basic care related to the generator components of your UTV.
GFCI Switch Checks
Each month perform a test of the Leakage Switch and the Overload Switch on the GFCI breaker on the Generator Control
Panel. Follow the procedure listed below.
Leakage Switch

Start the generator normally. Do not connect any electrical devices to the power
output sockets. Press the yellow button and the 30A switch will automatically turn
off. Turn off the generator and reset the 30A switch to the ON position.
Overload Switch

For this test the generator does not need to be operated. With the Generator Main
(keyed) Switch ON, press the red button and the 30A switch will automatically
turn off. Turn off the generator and reset the 30A switch to the ON position.

Electrical Output Sockets
Inspect the output sockets (and any cords you use to power electrical devices for corrosion) and verify their connections and
snug and secure.
