FEATURES & CONTROLS
AUXILIARY POWER OUTLET
Your UXV500iG is equipped with a SAE 12VDC power outlet (ciga-
rette lighter socket) to provide power to electrical accessories.
This power socket obtains its electricity from the vehicle’s battery
and is separate from the electrical power supplied by the onboard
generator system.
This power outlet
7
provides fused power (15A) at all times. Addi-
tional spade-type connectors are available on the outlet on the back
side of the dash to provide a more permanent source of accessory
electrical power.
No not use items that will exceed the amperage capacity
of the auxiliary power outlet or connectors. The maximum
capability of this circuit is 15A (180 W). It would be ac-
ceptable to power items such as a winch control relay,
however a winch motor would exceed the circuit’s capac-
ity. Follow accessory wiring instructions explicitly to pre-
vent damage to your UXV500iG. If you need assistance
installing accessories properly, consult your KYMCO dealer.
GENERATOR EMERGENCY BUTTON
The UXV500iG is equipped with a large, plunger-style button that
will emergency stop the onboard generator. The button
1
is lo-
cated on the left side of the main dashboard
To stop a generator, push the button all the way in until generator
functions cease. To re-enable the generator functions, pull the but-
ton outward.
Be sure to disconnect any wires or electrical equipment and
resolve the situation that created the need to press the emer-
gency stop button before reengaging the generator
