Insert along the paper width guide all the way in as shown.

Display when there is paper in the Job Separator

When there is paper in the Job Separator tray, the lamp lights up.

IMPORTANT:

How to load envelopes (orientation and facing) will differ depending on the type of envelope.

Be sure to load it in correctly, otherwise printing may be done in the wrong direction or on the wrong face.

NOTE:

When you load envelopes in the multi purpose tray, select the envelope type by referring to

Specifying Paper Size and Media Type for the Multi Purpose Tray (MP Tray Setting) on page 2-38

When you load envelopes or
cardstock in the multi purpose tray

Load envelopes with the print side facing down.
