Do not use the battery charger in explosive atmos

phere. This electrical device is not designed for
use in such environment.
• Charge the battery cartridge with room tem
-
perature at 0°C to 49°C (32°F to 120°F). Do not
charge battery outdoors or in temperatures below
0°C (32°F). Let a hot battery cartridge cool down
before charging it.

Do not puncture or attempt to open charger or bat
-
tery case.
•
Do not cover the battery charger with anything.
•
Do not use a step up transformer or engine gen
-
erator as the power source of the battery charger.
•
Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
•
During charging, the battery charger must be
placed in a well-ventilated area.
•
When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away
from fluids and metal objects, like paper clips,
coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal
objects, that can make a connection from one
terminal to another. Short-circuiting the battery
terminals may cause burns or a fire.
• Recycle battery and charger according to local
laws. Do not incinerate the battery/charger or
attempt to puncture and crush the battery/charger.
• Do not expose the battery or gas tools loaded with
battery under direct sun light exposure. Prevent
to expose them at temperatures higher than 49°C
(120°F). Overheating the battery can result in
explosion or fire.

Foreseeable hazards
• Information to conduct a risk assessment of these
hazards and implementation of appropriate con

• During operation, debris from workpiece and
fastening/collation system may be discharged.
• When using the gas tool for long periods, the
operator may experience discomfort in arms,
shoulders, neck, or other parts of the body.
• Exposure to vibration can cause disabling damage
to the nerves and blood supply of the hands and
arms.
• If the operator experiences symptoms such as
persistent or recurring discomfort, pain, throbbing,
aching, tingling, numbness, burning sensation, or
stiffness, do not ignore these warning signs. The
operator shall consult a qualified health profes
-
sional regarding overall activities.
• While using the gas tool, the operator shall adopt
a suitable but ergonomic posture. Maintain secure
footing and avoid awkward or off-balanced pos
-
tures.
• Hold the gas tool with a light, but safe, grip be
-
cause the risk from vibration is generally greater
when the grip force is higher.
• Residual risks relating to repetitive work hazards
such as duration of use in respect to working posi
-
tions and forces may exist. It is advised to consult
EN 1005-3 and EN 1005-4 for such information.
• Slips, trips and falls are major causes of workplace
injury. Be aware of slippery surfaces when operat
-
ing the gas tool.
• Proceed with additional care in unfamiliar sur
-
roundings. Hidden hazards may exist, such as
electricity or other utility lines.
• If the tool is used in an area where there is static
dust, it may spread the dust and cause a hazard.
• Where dust or exhaust hazards are created, the
priority shall be to control them at the point of
emission.
• Avoid dust to be sucked in to the nailer when oper
-
ating, as it can cause malfunction.
