button. (See Figure 7-7) Wait up to 15 seconds for the Pass
Phrase to be stored. Two (2) pop-ups will appear during the process. (See Figure
7-9)
NOTE
PuTTY Security Alert Window (See Figure 7-8) may be displayed
when a new or different computer is used to connect to the Modem
for the first time. This message displays because the keys between
devices do not match and that the PuTTY cache in the PC will need
to be updated with a new key. In this case, the Modem is the server
that provides the host key and the PC will act as the client stores the
key in registry. The Yes button must be activated within 10 seconds
in order for the PuTTY session to continue or it will time out and the
Modem will indicate a false secure connection has been establish. If
this happens, the MSK and or passphrase will not transfer properly
to the Modem even though indicators for TRANSEC functions reflect
green.
