Incorrect mounting/securement
Incorrect mounting/securement of the Outdoor Unit could lead to
serious or fatal injuries as well as damage to the device.
The Outdoor Unit must be installed by a trained professional who is
familiar with the installation of electronic devices outdoors and with the
legal limit values, directives and laws and regulations in force where the
device is to be installed.
Mounting under extreme weather conditions
Mounting under extreme weather conditions could lead to serious or
fatal injuries as well as damage to the device.
Do not mount the Outdoor Unit in extreme weather conditions, e.g. rain,
hail, snowfall, storm or thunderstorms.
Extraordinary environmental influences
Extraordinary environmental influences could adversely affect the
security of the mounting system and damage the device. Falling of the
installation or a malfunction could lead to serious or fatal injuries as
well as damage to the device.
Extraordinary environmental influences, such as salty air, chemicals in
the air, etc., could lead to increased corrosion in the mounting system
(e.g. of fastening points, screws, etc.) or connections (antenna, cable). In
these cases, take suitable measures to protect and seal off the system
and connections from corrosion.
To protect against direct sunlight and avoid overheating of the device, fit
a shade in the direction that receives most sunlight.
In the event of icing, the weight of the Outdoor Unit could increase
considerably. Wind loading would also increase as a result. For this
reason, protect the Outdoor Unit from icing if possible. If this is not
possible, factor the increased loads into the strength required of the
mounting system.
