Care and safe use guidelines

GAS FIREPIT SAFETY WARNINGS  

 

IF YOU SMELL GAS:    

1.Shut off gas supply to the firepit.  
2.Extinguish any open flame.  
3.Do not try lighting the appliance.  
4.Follow the gas supplier’s instructions.  
5.If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire department.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Read and understand all warnings and precautions prior to assembly and use of your gas 

firepit.  

• 

Minimum clearance from unit to combustible material:   

2m from the top; 2m from all sides.   

Do not locate this appliance under over-head unprotected combustible surfaces. Avoid using near or under overhanging 

trees or shrubs. 

• 

Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service or maintenance can cause injury or property damage. Read 

the installation, operation and maintenance instructions thoroughly before installing or servicing this 

equipment.  

• 

Do not operate appliance below 5 ˚C 

• 

Keep these instructions for future reference. If you are assembling this unit for some-one else, give this manual 

to them to read and keep for future reference.  

• 

This gas firepit should ONLY be used outdoors in a well-ventilated space and should NOT be used inside a 

building, garage, or any other enclosed area.  

• 

Do NOT use this outdoor gas firepit for indoor heating. TOXIC carbon monoxide fumes can accumulate and cause 

asphyxiation.  

• 

Never LEAVE this gas firepit unattended when in use.  

• 

Children and adults should be alerted to the hazards of high surface temperatures and kept at a safe distance 

while the firepit is in use to avoid burns or clothing ignition.  

• 

Gloves are recommended to be used while moving this appliance to protect your hands.  

• 

Any sealed parts supplied by manufacturer must not be altered by the user. 

• 

Do not store or use petrol or other flammable vapours and liquids within 8 meters of this or any other appliance.  

• 

Do NOT store any combustible materials in the base enclosure.  

• 

The use of alcohol, prescription or non-prescription drugs may impair an individual’s ability to properly assemble 

or safely operate this firepit.  

• 

Do not use in an explosive atmosphere. Keep gas firepit area clear and free from combustible materials, petrol 

and other flammable vapours and liquids.  

• 

This outdoor firepit is NOT to be operated by children. Young children should be closely supervised when near 

this outdoor firepit.  

• 

This outdoor firepit is not to be installed or used in or on recreation vehicles, caravans and/or boats.  

• 

Always use in accordance with all applicable guidelines, contact your council for details on outdoor fires.  

• 

Use the same precautions you would with any open fire with this outdoor firepit.
