Run the MSB Control Box Power Cable with the IEC inlet from the control
box to the junction box on the fume hood and connect to the fume hood
light circuit per wiring detail and wirings diagram in Appendix C.

If two or three position blower setting is desired, remove the blower switch
and blower switch label from the fume hood. For simple ON/OFF, skip
this step.
7.
Ensure that the power to the unit is shut off and then remove the existing
wires to the blower switch.
Important: Prevent the existing wires to the
blower switch from causing interference with the sash.
Attach one
jumper 7115400 to the blower cable wire terminals and another jumper
7115400 to the monitor cable terminals.
8.
Install the new blower switch label, blower switch, and blower switch
retainer. If needed, blower switch cutout is 0.83" x 1.45" (2.1 cm x 3.7 cm).
9.
Connect the MSB Control Cable wires to the new blower switch as follows.
On one half of the switch:
a.
Connect the White wire to the top terminal
b.
Connect the Red wire to the middle terminal.
c.
Connect the Black wire to the bottom terminal.
d.
Reference Appendix C and Appendix E for wiring details.
10.
If Night Setback mode is desired for an airflow monitor, connect harness
7117700 to the top two terminals on the unused half of the new blower
switch. The other end of 7117700 connects to the Night Setback input of
the airflow monitor. See Chapter 7.
11.
All electrical connections to the roof mounted blower, the MSB Control
Box, and switch wiring should be intact.
12.
Restore power to the roof mounted blower and the fume hood.
