Proper blower selection can be determined from these exhaust requirements and
the total system static pressure loss. Contact Labconco Customer Service for
assistance in sizing a blower system. Refer to
Appendix G: VAV Open Area
Guidelines
to properly assess the fume hood area opening, allowing the variable
air volume (VAV) mechanical system to be programmed at various sash
positions.
Electrical Requirements
The Protector Hood models feature internal wiring for the LED light assembly
and light switch. All internal wiring is terminated at the single point wiring
junction box for hook-up by a qualified electrician. The blower switch, and light
switch wires are also terminated at the single point wiring junction box for hook-
up by a qualified electrician. Refer to
