You can set up a Tempo protocol before loading the plates and then assign the plate locations.

If using a bulk filler, fill the bulk filler bottles with appropriate fluid: water, DMSO, or other reagent.

Ensure that the matching Echo plate insert for your source plates is either in the Echo device or on the appropriate Plate
Insert rack (last two positions on the accessory rack).
7.
If a sealer is present, ensure that the matching sealer insert is in the plate sealer.
8.
Check for lids and plates from a previous run in the delidder rack and temporary storage rack.
9.
Check the temperature of the Echo coupling fluid on the control panel. It should read 22 C.
10.
Check the fluid level in the coupling fluid bottle at the back of the Echo instrument.
11. Ensure all safety doors are closed. You can check if all doors are closed using Tempo software. Open Tempo, and navigate
to
Systems menu > Control Panel > Workcell
. All closed door icons on the
Workcell
tab are green.
