The batteries are depleted. You can connect
the power adapter to perform the investigation
and to charge the batteries. If you don’t follow
up the instruction, then the puller will be
switched off and lose the wireless connection
with the computer.
During the pre-test and the actual investigation, the slider is locked in position.
To unlock and reposition the slider manually, you must press the
Unlock
slider
button [4] at the control panel. Please note that the automatic return will
become unavailable.

Run Quality Check
Click the
Quality Check
button to start the quality check. The software will
display a message instructing the patient to cough.

The software will monitor P
ves
on cough peaks for 30 seconds. When a cough
peak is detected, the check will be performed and shown immediately. The
check is OK when there is a minimal 70% amplitude agreement between the
P
ves
and the P
abd
signals (the smaller spike must be at least 70% of the larger
spike). When EMG is measured, the software will check whether the EMG
signal will be doubled during a cough. The result of the quality check is shown
in a Result dialog box.
