volume.
For filling the balloon with the pump (water) you can enter the pump speed
(default 50 ml/min) on the
Filling
tab.

Click the

button and then select the
Profiles
tab. The window shown in
Figure 9.14 is displayed.

Rest and squeeze profile tests can be performed during anorectal manometry.
A 4-channel radial catheter is most accurate for these tests. In the profile
settings you can select how to withdraw the catheter, automatically by using
the puller or manually with your hand.
When automatic is selected, the puller pulls constantly at the set puller speed.
The recommended speed is 60 mm/min. The puller is required for continuous
longitudinal profile manometry. Settings are enabled when a puller is
connected. When manual is selected, you have to pull the catheter through the
