3.12 CABLES
Always attach cables to the rear panel of the Video Processor first, and then connect them to the
peripheral equipment. Only use approved cables from LABORIE (see Table 3.3 for a list of approved
cables).

3.13 CONNECT AN AC POWER CABLE
Compare the standard power plug configurations that are used in your country to those shown in
Figure 3-H below to make sure that you have the correct one. If the appropriate power cord is not
included with your product, contact your local LABORIE distributor.

Make sure that the main power switch to the unit is off before connecting the power cable.
To connect the power cable to the PrimeSight UNITY 9000 Video Processor:
• Connect the supplied power cable into the three-prong inlet on the rear panel of the
PrimeSight UNITY 9000 Video Processor.
• Plug the other end into an AC wall outlet.
All equipment must be properly grounded and should be connected to a three (3)-prong hospital-
grade receptacle in the U.S.A. or Canada. Ensure that all power requirements are met and comply
with the voltage rating located on the Processor’s rear panel.
