Fully extend the packer, then push the red emergency
STOP
button to maintain the packer in its
fully extended position.

Turn OFF the hydraulic pump and the engine.

Lock out and tag out the vehicle (see
Locking Out and Tagging Out the Vehicle

Remove the deflector panel on the automated arm assembly (see Figure 3
271).
Use a ¾-inch wrench to remove the 4 lower bolts that hold the panel.
Also remove the 3 carriage bolts located at the center of the automated arm assembly (see Figure
271).
In order to access these bolts and remove them, lift the arm cover open.

Remove the transversal beam by taking out the 4 bolts (2 on each side) that retain it.
