General Maintenance
Hopper
The area behind the packer SHOULD be cleaned out EVERY DAY. The packer will not work
properly if waste accumulates in this area; this could cause severe damage to the packer and other
related parts.
Cleaning the Hopper
This section explains how to properly clean the hopper section of the truck body.

The following procedure may vary depending on what type of chassis the body is attached to
and what types of options are installed on the vehicle (e.g. crusher panel, glass compartment,
automated arm, etc.).

following procedure:
1.
Park the E
XPERT
™ on safe level ground.
2.
Apply the parking brake.
3.
Using the Packer Control Selector switch on the control panel (see Figure 3
1), select the right-
hand side packer control station.

:
This switch is found only on vehicles equipped with more than one packer control station.
Danger!
Always wear gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed footwear and proper clothing when
cleaning the hopper and body.
