To reinstall the packer, proceed this way:
1.
Make sure the tailgate is properly open, and all packer components are properly assembled.
2.

Use a safe lifting device and hook the packer by the ring handle (see Figure 3-12).
4.
Lift the packer and align it with the side rails inside the body.
5.
Insert the wear plate panels in the rails and push the packer in.
6.
On the packer control station, press the green P
ACK
button (see Figure 3-8) to fully extend the
packer cylinder.
7.
Insert the cylinder into the packer, then the pin through the tip of the packer and into the cylinder
to fix them properly.
8.
Turn on the engine and the hydraulic system (P
UMP
switch set to “ON”).
9.
On the packer control station, press the yellow P
ACKER
R
ETRACT
button to retract the packer to
its home position (see Figure 3-16).

10.
Extend and retract the packer in E
JECT
mode for a full cycle to make sure the packer has been
properly installed.
To activate this mode, press and hold the A
UTO
-E
JECT
switch on the multiplexed control module
Warning!
Slowly extend the cylinder in order to properly align it with the packer and to avoid impact
that could cause damage to the equipment.
Caution
Make sure the ball valve on the suction line is fully open before starting the vehicle.
