Available configuration
Key type
SureKey works with most of locks, both with standard and symmetric keys. In case of symmetric keys, the “Type of key”
setting has to be changed. If the lock is only mounted
on one side, the “None” setting has to be used.
Alarm notifications
SureKey will generate alarm sounds if the key was left in the lock and/or if the door is left unlocked.
Note: the alarm is only generating when any movement occurs inside the lock (it
means that putting the key in won’t
cause the alarm to be generated in itself).
Home position
SureKey helps find the key if it doesn’t get put away in a previously defined place (labeled with a magnetic sticker) or if i
t
doesn’t get hung. If the feature is enabled, the sound signal allows us to find the key and to remember to put the key
away in the right place.
Status after change
Upon changing the lock’s state (locked/unlocked), SureKey notifies about the current state using LEDs, sound or both.
Indicating the lock’s state
When we’re using a lock where the initial position of the key is parallel to the surface, we have to move to the position
shown in the figure below:

In other cases, indicating the lock’s state takes place by making
a move to the position shown in the figure below.
A green LED means that the door has been locked, whereas a red LED means that the door is unlocked. At the same
time, both diodes being on indicate an undefined state (only occurs after a complete configuration of the key cover).
In the event of the Door 2 management is enabled (Master-Key system or in the event of using two locks for one part of
the door with the same key being used) the state indication first occurs for the Door 1, and then for the Door 2.
