6.7. Users Menu
By clicking on the
Users
tab, you will be brought to the main
page of the
Users
menu. From this window you will be able
to manage your users by creating new users and modifying
their password and USB access privileges (either read-only,
read-write, or none), as well as changing the Administrator’s
password (

).
6.7.1. Add A User
By clicking on the
Add new user
line in the
Users
menu, you
will be able to create a new user and assign them a name,
password and USB access privileges (

CAUTION:
User name, share name, and passwords
can be composed of only letters and numbers and can-
not contain any special characters such as %$&(_@...

TeChNICAl NOTe:
By default, newly created users
do not have access to any shares.
ImpOrTANT INfO:
When the Ethernet Disk mini is
plugged in via USB, the user can access every share.
The administrator can assign a user a read/write or
read-only access via USB.
