2.2.  Installing the BD/DVD/CD 

Burning Software (Windows)

The software bundled with the Slim Blu-ray is for computers running 
Windows XP (SP3 preferred), Windows Vista, and Windows 7 (see 

1.2.1. Burning and Mastering

IMPORTANT INFO:

 While the Slim Blu-ray is compatible with 

Mac OS 10.6 and Linux 2.6, LaCie cannot guaranty performance 
with third-party burning, authoring, and playback software. 

2.2.1. Installing the Recording Software

Insert the included LaCie Software Utilities DVD into your computer’s 
optical drive, and follow the instructions below. For more informa-
tion about the various programs, please refer to the software’s 

Help 

section.

1.  Double-click the LaCie Software Utilities DVD icon 

2.  Open the Cyberlink Blu-ray Disc Suite folder.  

3.  Double-click the installer and follow the on-screen steps to 

completion.

TECHNICAL NOTE:

 You will be prompted for the CD key the first 

time you use your application. The serial number for your copies 
of the Cyberlink software suite are located on the back of the CD 
sleeve.
