SETTING UP
1.- Install you work station according to the crepes you wish to make.
2.- Place the appliance more than 20 cm away from any surface and every article which is
sensitive to heat.
3.- Undo the lead firmly plug in, first to the appliance and then to electricity socket.
4.- Control cooking temperature with the cursor according to the instructions given in the recipe
leaflet. For example: position 5 for sweet crepes and savoury buckwheat galettes.
The green indicator will light up. When it goes off after 6 to 7 minutes, the appliance is ready
for use.
5.- Lightly dampen a cotton cloth with oil.
6.- Before the first crepe and between each crepe, clean the plate with this- without adding
oil-and the groove which guides the spreader device.
IMPORTANT:
1.- Temperature setting are given for information. You can change the according to
your needs.
2.- Between cooking each crepe, clean the wooden scraper to this effect and leave
the accessory to stand in the water container.
3.- Don´t leave wooden scraper permanently on the heated griddle.
RECIPES FOR SWEET CREPES AND SAVOURY BUCKWHEAT GALETTES
Wheat flour crepes:
for 15 crepes-In a bowl, place 100 to 125 gr. Sugar, 1 tablespoon of buck-
wheat flour, a pinch of sea salt, 2 eggs, 25 gr. Melted butter or 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, 1
teaspoon vanilla flavouring, ¾ glass of water (10 cl.). Beat together and gradually add 250 gr. of
wheat flour and half a glass of milk (taken from ½ litre of semi-skimmed milk) until you obtain a
thick but lump-free batter. Then mix in the rest of the milk.
Buckwheat flour savoury galettes:
for 20 galettes-In a bowl, place 250 gr buckwheat flour, 1
tablespoon wheat flour, 1 teaspoon sea salt, 1 egg, a 12 cl. Glass of water. Mix to obtain a
perfectly lump-free batter. Gradually add 3 further glasses of milk.
