CLEANING / MAINTENANCE
To avoid injury, turn the blender off, unplug it from the power source and let it cool down before
starting any maintenance.
1.- Put a little warm water with a little soap in the jar. Put the lid on the jar and run the blender
for about 10 seconds, then empty the jar and rinse it out with water. Put the jar upside down
and let it dry before storing.
To lengthen the life of the jar, do not leave water inside it for long periods of time.
Make sure the inside of the jar and the blades are completely dry before putting them
away.
2.- Disassemble the blades for cleaning, if necessary. To disassemble the blades, turn the
attachment ring on the bottom of the jar clockwise. You can use the disassembly wrench
(Ref. 69195T not included with this item), for taking the blades apart. Block the attachment
ring with the wrench and turn the jar counter-clockwise.
3.- To put the blades back together, put them in position and hold them while turning the
attachment ring on the bottom of the jar counter-clockwise. Tightening the ring by hand is
enough because it tightens itself during use.
4.- Only use non-abrasive cleaning products. Abrasive cleaning products can scratch the finish
of the blender, damaging its appearance and leading to the accumulation of dirt.
5.- Use a damp cloth to clean the body of the blender, because it cannot be submerged in water.
6.- Make sure to store the blender in a dry, well ventilated place with no humidity.
