6.- Connect the power cord to an electrical outlet. The temperature indicator (7) will light up to
show the device is turned on.
7.- Put the temperature selector (6) on high to pre-heat the device.
Let the heating surface pre-heat for 10 minutes before putting any plates, trays or food
containers on the heating surface or any food in the pans
NOTE:
The first time the device is turned on it may produce smoke or odours.
Be aware that this is normal for electric devices
8.- After the preheating time is over, choose the temperature you want to keep the food at using
the temperature selector.
9.- Put the food in the pans or put plates, trays or food containers on the heating surface so the
food stays hot. Be aware that the device has been designed to keep food warm so it can't be
used to cook food.

Do not use the device for more than 6 hours continuously
10.- Use the built in handles if you need to move the buffet heater. They're designed so users
won't burn themselves while the device is turned on.
11.- Unplug the device when you're done heating the food.
CLEANING:
1.- Let the device cool down completely before you start to clean it.
Make sure the device is unplugged.
2.- Empty all remaining food and liquids from the pan after the device has cooled down.
3.- Remove the pans and lids or plates, trays and food containers from the heating surface.
4.- Clean the pans and lids with soap and hot water.
5.- Use a sponge or damp cloth with soap to clean the heating surface.
Do not submerge the heating surface in water, it is not waterproof. Dry the heating surface
after cleaning.

Do not use abrasive products for cleaning. Do not use a brush or other utensil that may
damage any of the parts or surfaces of the heating surface.
MAINTENANCE:
The heating surface doesn't need any special maintenance, however care should be taken
regarding the following:
1.- Do not leave the device unattended while it's turned on. Excessive and prolonged use can
shorten the device's useful life. The device shouldn't be used for more than 6 hours
continuously.
2.- If your buffet heater won't be used for a long period, you should put a thin layer of cooking oil
on the heating surface.
