OPERATION
1.- The machine should be installed on a work surface that has sufficient stability and strength
to support the weight of the machine and product being sliced.
2.- Fix the acrylic protector. Users must not use the machine without this protection, as they
may seriously harm themselves.
3.- Before machine first use and before plug, clean carefully the blade and all parts that might
be in contact with food.
4.- Make sure that the line voltage of your power source matches the rated voltage and
frequency on the machine.
5.- Turn the switch on and let the machine race about 2-3 minutes before use.
Look to see that the machine is running properly before use.
6.- When the power is on, the light bulb on the power button will glow.
7.- Adjust the slice thickness by turning the slice thickness regulator counterclockwise. Turn the
positioner knob clockwise.
8.- Push the product carriage back and forth over the blade with a continuous motion, using the
product pusher handle and the pusher knob.
9.- After slicing the desired amount turn the positioner knob back to the original position.
10.- You can now pick up the sliced product.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
USE YOUR FOOD SLICER FOR BEST RESULT
1.- To slice meats wafer thin, freeze thoroughly for only 2 to 4 hours before slicing.
2.- Meats should be boneless. Fruit should be free of seeds.
3.- Foods with an uneven texture-like fish and thin steaks - are often difficult to slice. Freeze for
2 to 4 hours before slicing.
4.- At canning time, using slicer can quickly cut cucumbers, onions or other fruit for delicious
pickles...apples pies...vegetables.
HOT ROASTS: BEET, PORK, LAMB, HAM
1.- When slicing warm boneless roast, remove then from oven at least 15 to 20 minutes before
slicing. They will return more nature juices and slice evenly without crumbing.
2.- Cut the roast, if necessary, to fit on food tray. If roast is tied, turn off motor and remove
strings one at a time as strings near blade.
