Gears
Derailleur
Note:
you should keep pedaling when switching gears. In addition,
not much force should be put onto the pedals while shifting to
keep the derailleur in good condition.
Type 1
The shift mechanism of the derailleur is located on the right side of
the steering wheel. It has a "
+
" (A) and "
–
" (B) thumb/finger control.
Press (A) to shift up and press (B) to shift down. At (C), you can read
the current gear.
Type 2
The shift mechanism of the derailleur is located on the right side of
the steering wheel. It has a "
+
" (C) and "
–
" (B) thumb control. Press
(C) to shift up and press (B) to shift down. At (A), you can read the
current gear.
Hub gear
The hub gear can be controlled on the right side of the
steering wheel. By turning knob (D), the gear can be
shifted up or down.
