Mode and battery settings
Mode and Battery type are set by Jumper Pin.
Use tweezers to select the mode and
battery type.
Mode: F/B/R, Boat, F/R
- F/B/R (F=Forward, B=Brake, R=Reverse):
When you are going forward, push trigger
once to brake then push once more to reverse. This setting prevents sudden reverse.
- Boat mode:
only has forward and reverse without brake.
- F/R mode:
Forward and reverse with drag brake (recommended for crawlers)
*Factory default mode setting: Forward / Reverse
*Factory default battery setting: NiMH
Protection features
1.Battery protection: when the ESC detects that the battery level is lower than the
preset value, it enters into the protection mode (normally there are two steps of
protection: first is to lower the power output and second is to cutoff the power).
2. Temperature protection: when the internal temperature is higher than 100 °C,
it will lower the motor’s output to prevent the car from suddenly stopping. The LED will
start flashing. It will recover to normal when the temperature drops below 80 °C.

4.5V - the power
will cut to half.
Voltage drops to
4.0V - the power
will cut off.
