The machine can also be switched on if the plug of the
extension cable is plugged directly into an adequately fused
mains socket with protective contacts.
However, the regulations and legal requirements applicable
in your country must be absolutely observed!
4.3 SWITCHING ON THE MACHINE
CAUTION!
RISK OF INJURY and RISK OF PROPERTY DAMAGE from
rotating parts of the machine:
• Please read this section very carefully! It contains
important safety instructions!
• When switching on the machine, ensure that no objects
randomly positioned in the vicinity can be picked up and
no other persons are in the danger area!
• Never allow the machine to run unattended!
4.3.1 GENERAL
NEVER switch on the machine if:
•
no
sanding plate or milling disc is mounted (fig. 11)!
•
the machine is
not
in the working position!
•
the sanding plate or milling disc is
not completely
placed flat
on the floor (fig. 12)!
If these conditions are not met, the sanding plate or milling
disc can come free of its mount and parts or fingers can catch
on the rotating plate or disc, resulting in injury and damage!
•
the dust extraction socket is
not
closed either with its cap
or a vacuum cleaner hose (

)!
