WORKING WITH THE SINGLE
Working with the SINGLE
5.1 GENERAL APPLICATION TIPS
WARNING!
RISK OF DEATH from electrical shock:
The machine may never be used for wet processing operations
of any kind!
•
It is possible to avoid leaving deep sanding tracks caused
by excessively coarse grits by initially selecting a fine grit
for the first sanding process.
•
Carry out a test sanding using grit 50 or 60. If this test is
satisfactory and you envisage a good sanding result within
a reasonable period, it is more efficient to start the sanding
work off with these finer grits.
•
You can avoid creating sanding tracks from the previous grit
used by adhering to the grit sequence and not skipping more
than one grit at a time.
•
Thoroughly vacuum the floor and expansion gap
immediately
before starting
each
work step!
•
Clean the wheels of the machine before each work step.
•
When changing to a new sanding disc, always start work in
a less well lit area of the room until the sanding disc loses
its initial aggressive sanding effect.
