TIONS “DGUV VORSCHRIFT 3”
(November 2012)
§ 5 Inspections

electrical systems and equipment is inspected
1. before using the equipment for the first time and after an
alteration or repair before being used again by an electrician
or under the supervision of an electrician and
2. at regular intervals.
The intervals are to be calculated in such a manner that defects
which must be handled are detected in a timely manner.
(2) The electrical engineering regulations relevant to the inspec-
tion are to be followed.
(3) Upon request by the professional association, an inspection
log with specific entries is to be maintained.
(4) The inspection before the first commissioning as per paragraph

the manufacturer or installer that the electrical systems and
equipment have been correspondingly procured in accordance
with these accident prevention guidelines.
