If you see a triangle on the notification area,
swipe down with one finger from the top of the
screen and touch the notification to solve the
issue. It’s often a simple matter, like updating a
Google service.
Favorites tray
On the bottom of the screen you can access a shortcut
menu to your favorite apps. When you start your phone for
the first time, you’ll see the following shortcuts: Phone, Con-
tacts, All apps, Messages and E-mail. To customize this area
with your favorite apps, touch and hold an icon and drag it
from the Favorite tray to remove it, or into the Favorite tray
to add a new one.
Navigation bar
At the bottom of the screen you’ll find the navigation bar
with three buttons:
Back
: Opens the previous screen, even if it’s a different
app.
Home
: Returns to the Home screen. To get suggestions
based on the screen you’re currently viewing, touch and
hold it.
Overview
: Opens a list of thumbnail images with the
apps you’ve worked with recently. Touch an image to
open the app. To remove it from the list, touch the X or
swipe the image left or right.
Status bar
The status bar is at the top of the screen. On the right cor-
ner, you can see Wi-Fi and signal strength, how much power
you have left and the time.
On the left, you can see which apps have sent you notifica-
tions.

To access the notification, swipe down one finger from
the top of the screen. To open the app, touch the notifica-
tion.

To clear the notification list, touch the three rectangles
icon below the notifications, on the right.
