USING YOUR SCALE

1.  Begin by placing the scale on a hard, level surface to ensure accurate weighing.
2.  Gently press the ‘ON/OFF TARE’ button to turn the scale on, the display will show 

’ and then show the units of the last setting used.

3.  To switch between units of g/oz/ml (grams, ounces, millilitres), touch the ‘UNIT’ 

button until you have reached the correct setting.

4.  Place the ingredients to be weighed on the scale, the weight will appear on display.
5.  To save battery power, the scale will automatically switch off after approximately  

60 seconds if left unused.  

ADD-AND-WEIGH TARE FUNCTION

1.  The scale has a helpful add-and-weigh function, so that several ingredients can be 

weighed in the same bowl, saving time and washing-up. The weight displayed can be 

reset to zero after each ingredient is weighed.

2.  Place a bowl on the scale. The display will show the weight of the bowl.
3.  Touch the ‘TARE’ button, gently once, to clear the weight of the bowl and reset to ‘0’, 

TARE will appear on the bottom left of the display.

4.  Place the next ingredient into the bowl, the display will show the weight only of the 

next ingredient added. Repeat this function to weigh other ingredients in the same 

bowl.

5.  When the bowl is removed from the scale, the display will show a negative value.
6.  Touch the ‘TARE’ button again and after 2 seconds the display will show a zero value.

USING YOUR GLASS SCALE FOR THE FIRST TIME

1.  Carefully unpack the scale and remove any packaging. Wipe the scale with a slightly 

damp cloth, then dry.

2.  Open the battery compartment on the underneath of the scale, the protective strip in 

the battery compartment must be removed.
