TROUBLESHOOTING

•  If the display shows ‘ ’ then replace the battery.
•  If the display shows ‘

’ – the scale is overloaded. Remove food or  

bowl immediately to avoid permanent damage. The maximum capacity is 

8kg/282oz/8000ml.  

CARE AND CLEANING

•  To clean the scale, wipe it with a slightly damp cloth, then dry with a soft, dry cloth.
•  Never immerse the scale in water or liquid.
•  Do not use chemical/abrasive cleaners or scourers as they will damage the glass 

finish. 

Caution

: Never attempt to take the scale apart or open it up, except when replacing  

the battery.

BATTERY CHANGING INSTRUCTIONS

•  If the product stops working or the LCD display shows ‘ ’ the battery may need 

replacing. When replacing the battery ensure the product is switched off. To switch 

off press the ‘TARE’ button for 2 seconds. 

•  On the underneath of the scale, unscrew to open the battery compartment and  

slide open.

•  Replace the CR2032/3V battery with correct polarity (+/-). 
•  Replace compartment cover and secure by tightening the screw.
•  Safely dispose of used battery immediately, in a suitable recycling facility.
