FUME THERMOSTAT CHECK
At the end of all operations, the fume thermostat efficiency must be checked as follows:
- disconnect the pipe connecting the fume cap to the flue and close it with suitable material (capable of
withstanding a temperature of about 300°C)
- ignite the boiler after having opened all windows in the room
- the burner shall shut off within two minutes, and the lamp at the chimney symbol shall light up. (If this does
not occur, replace the fume thermostat with a new, original one).
- turn the main switch off and close the gas gate
- connect the connection pipe to the chimney
- wait for the fume safety thermostat bulb to cool down (about 10 minutes after it triggers)
- reset the fume thermostat
- ignite the boiler
IF THE WARNING LAMP LIGHTS UP AND THE FUME THERMOSTAT TRIGGERS WITH BOILER OPERATING
AND REGULARLY CONNECTED TO THE CHIMNEY, CHECK THE CHIMNEY EFFICIENCY.
