ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
PNZ burners are designed to work with three-phase supply (230-400 V/50 Hz). Provide a three-phase main switch prior to
connecting the burner to the mains. Provide a second main switch for the pre-heater resistances (see fig. 9). The necessary
connections are to the supply line, the thermostat line, the boiler and the environment, and eventually the safety light of the
room thermostat. Connect the resistances of the pre-heater tank as well. The motors of the burners and the resistances
of the tank are designed to work at 400 three-phase (i.e. with a star connection); when line voltage is 230 V a triangle
connection is needed. Simply change the position of the clamps on the terminal board of the motor and the resistances,
without changing any other connection (see figures 6-7).

N.B. With a three-phase 400 V connection, the neutral cable which supplies resistances R1-R4 must be taken from the
supply line of tank resistance.
N.B. With a three-phase 230 V connection, resistances R1-R4 are supplied with a two-phase 230 V voltage.
