Fitting the burner to the boiler
After preparing the front of the heat generator according to the coupling template dimensions
indicated in Figure , fix the burner coupling plate () with the two lower screws () taking care to
interpose the asbestos gasket (3) provided (see Fig. 9).
Fit the burner on the coupling plate and position it as shown in Fig. (detail A).
Then lock the burner with the screw (4) and secure the coupling plate with the two upper screws (5).
Before starting the burner, it is advisable to check that:
- the burner and control device are connected to earth
- the nozzle (8) fitted on the burner is of suitable capacity for the boiler
- there is fuel oil in the tank and that the gate valves are open
- the boiler flue gas registers and the stack are open
- the electrical circuit protection fuse is 3 Amp
- the ambient and boiler thermostats are adjusted to the desired temperature
- the switch on the ambient thermostat is in the operating position
- the air has been bled from the gas pipe through the pressure outlet connector (F) (Fig. 5)
- the contacts of the main switch are open
- the contacts on all the other control devices are closed
- the air adjustment valve allows opening the throttle
- the fuel selection button is positione on GAS or OIL depending on the fuel selected.
