Before calling the 

LAMONA 

Service Line check the 

following and trouble shooting guide below.

•

  Is the machine plugged in and switched on?

•

  Is the circuit breaker switch on?

•

  Is the water supply valve turned on?

•

  Is the dishwasher door closed firmly?

7 - Before calling for service/problem solving

Fault codes

No water supply.

Check water valve is on and fill hose is not kinked.
Separate the inlet hose from the tap and clean the 
hose filter.

Not draining water. 

Check drain hose for kinks/blockages.

Internal leak - signs of water.

Turn off at water supply and mains electric.

Call for a Service Engineer.

•

  Are the filters clogged?

•

  Is the detergent dosage and/or rinse aid sufficient?

•

  Is there enough salt in the water softener?

•

  Are the spray arms blocked / turning freely?

The programme 
does not start.

Dishwasher is not plugged in.

Ensure the plug is securely connected to the socket and that 
the socket switch is in the ON position.

The dishwasher is not switched on.

Switch your dishwasher on using the On/Off button.

Fuse has blown / breaker has tripped.

Check / replace your household fuse / reset or replace 
consumer unit breaker.

Water inlet tap is closed.

Turn on the water inlet tap.

The dishwasher door is open.

Close the dishwasher door.

Water inlet hose and machine filters are 
clogged.

Check the water inlet hose and machine filters and make sure 
they are not clogged.

Insufficient water fill.

Check mains water pressure. Fill hose kinked.

Water remains 
inside the 
machine.

Water drain hose is clogged or twisted.

Check the water inlet hose and machine filters and make sure 
they are not clogged.

The programme is not finished yet.

Wait until the programme is finished.

Dishwasher 
stops during 
washing.

There may have been a power failure.

Check the mains power.

Water inlet failure.

Check the water tap.

Shaking and 
banging noises 
heard during 
operation.

The spray arm is hitting the dishes in the 
lower basket.

Move or remove items blocking the spray arm.

Some food waste 
remains on the 
dishes.

Dishes placed incorrectly (overcrowded), 
preventing sprayed water from reaching 
affected areas.

Avoid overloading the baskets. Check to be sure water action 
is not  blocked by dishes. Check filter system for accumulated 
or deposited food or detergent. Load dishwasher correctly.
