Fitting the carbon filter

If the appliance is to be used in recirculation mode then it is necessary to fit a
carbon filter. This will help to absorb unpleasant odours caused by cooking.

IMPORTANT: BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO FIT OR REMOVE THE
CARBON FILTER, YOU MUST ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE
DISCONNECTED  THE  COOKER  HOOD  FROM YOUR  MAINS  SUPPLY.

Remove the grease filters (as described previously). 

IMPORTANT: 

Check

that the cooker hood is set to recirculation mode (see page 10 for further
information).

‡

Press the carbon filter against one end of the motor, the fixing point is in
the centre of the carbon filter.

‡

Turn the carbon filter clockwise, until you feel it click into place.

‡

Refit the grease filters.

‡

The carbon filter should be replaced every 3 - 6 months or if they show
signs of damage.
