DO'S AND DON'TS

Do-

     

-Clean your larder refrigerator regularly.
-Store raw meat in the lower part of the refrigerator
below cooked food and dairy products
-Wrap and cover all items to prevent 'drying-out' and to
avoid smell and cross contamination.
-Store food as short a time as possible to avoid bacterial
growth.
-Keep the refrigerator sufficiently cool to inhibit bacterial
growth.
-Observe use-by dates on foodstuffs.
-Clean salad and remove damaged leaves
-Leave lettuce, cabbage and cauliflower on the stem.
-Wrap cheese in greaseproof paper and polythene,
removing as much air as possible.
-Try not to overload the door trays.

-Store bananas in your fridge.

tore melon in your fridge. It can be chilled for short periods

as long as it is wrapped to avoid it flavouring other food.
- Leave the door open for long periods as this will make the
larder refrigerator more costly to run.
- Store poisonous or any dangerous substances in the larder
refrigerator. (Your larder refrigerator has been designed for
the storage of edible foodstuffs only).
- Consume food which has been stored for an excessive time
in the larder refrigerator.
- Store cooked and fresh food together in the same container.
They should be packaged and stored separately

Let defrosting food or food juices drip onto food below.

PROBLEM SOLVING/TROUBLE SHOOTING

If the appliance does not operate when switched on, check;

The plug is inserted properly in the socket and that the power

supply is on.

If the fuse has blown/circuit breaker has tripped/main switch

has been turned off.

The temperature control has been set correctly.

(Checking these items may avoid a charge if a guarantee

service call is made)

REPLACING THE INTERIOR LIGHT BULB (See diagram)

Should the light fail to work, switch off at the plug socket and pull 

out the plug. Follow the instructions below to check if the light bulb 

has worked itself loose or needs replacing.

If the light needs replacing, fit a suitable E14 screw cap type 15w 

(Max) lamp. (Available from Lamona spares) 

Replace as follows:

1.

Switch off at the plug socket and pull out the plug.

2.

Remove the light diffuser cover as shown in figure (b-c).

(You may find it useful to remove the shelf for easy access.)
Replace the failed lamp.

3.

Re-fit the light diffuser cover as shown in figure (d).

Push firmly to ensure cover is fitted properly.

4.

Carefully dispose of the failed lamp.

The appliance should be transported only in a vertical upright
position.

If during the course of transport the appliance has to be
transported horizontally, it must only be laid on its left hand
side (when standing in front of the appliance). After bringing it
to upright position,it must not be operated for at least 4 hours
to allow the cooling system to settle.

Failure to comply with the above instructions could result in

damage occuring to the appliance. The manufacturer will not be

held responsible if these instructions are disregarded.

The appliance must be protected against rain, moisture and

other atmospheric influences.

Empty any water in the drain tray before moving see section

“Defrosting” and “Cleaning & Care” for further information.

IMPORTANT 

To avoid any loss in performance, air suction channels should 
not be obstructed. (140 cm  2)   Minimum  distance  between  the

wall  and  the  appliance  must  be  at  least  10  mm.

Correct adjustment of feet avoids excessive vibration and noise.

Refer to "Cleaning and Care" section to prepare your appliance for

use.

This appliance has been designed to operate in ambient temperatures

b10 and +32 degrees C. if the appliance is installed in an
unheated / cold room (E.g.:  garage etc.) then the appliance may not
operate correctly and as a result; the storage time of food may be
reduced.

Care should be taken with the grilles and pipework at the rear

of the appliance to avoid damage to the product and person.

This appliance is not designed for stacking with another

appliance.

Do not trap and damage mains cable under appliance,

Do not allow children to play with the appliance or controls.

Do not sit or stand on appliance
