following symbols are used.
Food Safety
• To avoid contamination of
food respect the following
instructions:
– Do not open the door for long
periods of time.
– regularly clean all surfaces
that come into contact
with food and the easily
accessible drainage
channels.
– keep raw and cooked food
well apart and do not let raw
foods drip onto cooked and
other foodstuffs.
– Never place hot food into the
refrigerator. Allow to cool to
room temperature first.
– Allow frozen food to defrost
inside the refrigerator.
– Good food stock rotation
reduces waste. Place new
products behind older
versions.
•
The medium temperature
setting ensures good
preservation of fresh food.
Higher temperature inside
the appliance may lead to
shorter shelf life of food and
wastage.
• Cover the food with
packaging to preserve its
freshness and aroma.
• Always use closed containers
for liquids and food to avoid
odours filling in the whole
compartment.
• To avoid cross-contamination
between cooked and raw
foods, always wrap or cover
items.
• A higher temperature setting
may lead to shorter storage
life of foodstuffs and possible
increase in harmful bacteria.
• Store foodstuffs in the
appropriate parts of the
refrigerator to maximise
freshness and longevity of
food.
Energy Efficiency
• Most efficient use of energy
is ensured in the default
configuration with the shelves
evenly distributed. Position of
the door racks does not affect
energy consumption.
• Do not open the door too
frequently or leave open longer
than necessary.
• If the ambient temperature
is high and the temperature
control is set to too low with
the refrigerator fully loaded,
the compressor may run
continuously, causing extra ice
formation on the evaporator.
Set the temperature control
slightly warmer to allow
automatic defrosting and to
save energy.
