2. Cleaning and Care

CLEANING AND CARE

* We recommend that you switch off the larder refrigerator at
the socket outlet and pull out the mains plug before cleaning.

* Never use any sharp instruments or abrasive substances,
soap, household cleaner, detergent and wax polish for cleaning.

* Use luke warm water to clean the cabinet of the refrigerator
and wipe it dry.

* Use a damp cloth wrung out in a solution of one teaspoon of
bicarbonate of soda to one pint of water to clean the interior and
wipe it dry.

* Make sure that no water enters the temperature control box.

* If the larder refrigerator is not going to be used for a long
period of time switch it off, remove all food, clean it and leave
the door ajar.

* Check door seals regularly to ensure they are clean and free
from food particles

Removal of door trays:

To remove a door tray, remove all the contents and
then gently push the tray upwards at the outer edges.

Starting at a corner, gently 
pull the seal away, working 
along puling the seal out of 
the channel.
To re-fit start at a corner and
firmly press the seal into
place. Work along the seal 
pressing the seal into the 
channel.

Keep the air vents free from obstruction and clean
using a soft brush and vacuum cleaner.
