The Filter
• The
fi
lter is found, as seen from the diagram, by opening the door and must always be in position
when drying items in the appliance.
•
To allow the dryer to operate ef
fi
ciently it should be cleaned after each drying cycle.
•
Do not be alarmed by the amount of
fl
uff deposited on the mesh. It is not due to excessive wear
caused by the dryer but more an indication of its ef
fi
cient operation.
•
All fabrics lose
fl
uff when drying but it goes unnoticed into the air. In a tumble dryer it simply collects in
the
fi
lter.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS:
We strongly recommend that any electrical work is carried out by a quali
fi
ed
person complying with the latest edition of the IEE electrical regulations.
IMPORTANT:
Please remember that the tumble dryer must be capable of being switched off, (disconnected
from the supply), when
fi
tted in position.
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured
marking indentifying the terminals in your plug proceed as follows
1.
Connect the green - yellow or green (earth) wire terminal in the plug marked ‘E’ or with the symbol
or coloured green and yellow or green.
2.
Connect the blue (neutral) wire to the terminal in the plug marked ‘N’ or coloured black.
3.
Connect the brown (live) wire to the terminal in the plug marked ‘L’ or coloured red.
With alternative plugs 13 A fuse must be
fi
tted either in the plug or an adapter in the main fuse box.
