5. CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning:
• Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operation the appliance MUST be turned OFF and
unplugged to avoid any risk of electric shock.
• Use a wet or damp cloth to clean the device, afterwards, let it dry entirely.
• Do NOT soak or immerse the fridge in water and do not use water directly to clean it.
• Do NOT use abrasive products or cleaning agents as they may cause damages to the appliance.
Storage:
If you intend not to use the device for a long period of time, please follow the following instructions:
• Turn the appliance OFF and unplug it.
• Remove all items stored in the appliance.
• Wipe off all water excesses with a soft, nonabrasive, rag or cloth.
• Store the fridge in a dry and well-ventilated environment.
• Throughout the entire period of inactivity, leave the lid open to prevent bad odours and mould from
forming.
• Recommended storage environment: ambient temperature: 25°C, Ambient humidity: ≤75%
Defrosting:
High percentages of humidity can lead to the formation frost inside the cooling box or in the evaporator
compartment. As a result, the cooling capacity and efficiency is reduced. Defrost the appliance in due to time
to avoid this instance.
• Turn OFF and unplug the appliance to avoid any risk of electric shock.
• Remove all items stored in the appliance.
• Make sure that the lid is kept open.
• Carefully wipe off the defrosted water.
NEVER use sharp or pointed tools when removing the ice from the cooling box or when trying to
loosen products that have frozen against the cooling compartment.
