• Before using the essential oils, please
check the harmful effects that use of
these products may have on your health.
• Always choose quality essential oils:
pure and 100% natural and intended for
diffusion. Use them with moderation and
care. Follow the instructions and warn-
ings indicated on the packaging of the
essential oils, in particular ensuring that:
· Pregnant women and people
with epilepsy, asthma or allergies,
heart problems or serious condi-
tions must not use essential oils.
· Essential oils should only be used for pe-
riods not exceeding 10 minutes in a ba-
by's room (- 3 years old) and only when
the baby is not present in the room.
• Make sure that children and minors
do not play with or use the device.
• Only a few drops (3 to 4 drops at most)
of essential oils are sufficient to ensure
the device works properly and the fra-
grance is diffused. Excessive use of es-
sential oils could damage the device.
• Lanaform cannot be held liable in the
event of accidental damage resulting
from any use contrary to the instruc-
tions given in these instructions for use.
Cleaning
Maintenance
Always turn off the humidifier and empty the
water contained in the reservoir before clean-
ing or storing it. To empty the water from the
reservoir, make sure that water does not enter
the chimney through the air exhaust vent.
If the water is hard, i.e. if it contains too much
calcium and magnesium, it may leave a “white
powder” in the device and cause frothing on
the surface of the basin, on the transducer (ce-
ramic pellets producing ultrasound) and on the
internal walls of the water reservoir. Frothing
on the surface of the transducer means that
the device will not work properly.
We recommend
01
Using boiled and cooled wa-
ter or distilled water for each use,
02
Cleaning the reservoir every 3 days and
cleaning the transducer every week,
03
Changing the water in the reservoir
regularly so that it stays fresh, not
leaving it there for more than 2 days,
04
Cleaning the entire device and
making sure that all its parts are
completely dry when it is not in use.
To clean the transducer 4
01
Remove the water reservoir.
02
Place 2 to 5 drops of vinegar
on its surface and allow to
stand for 2 to 5 minutes.
03
Brush the foam off the surface using
the brush provided. Do not use a
hard tool to scrape the surface.
04
Rinse the transducer with clean water.
05
Do not use soap or other alkaline
substances to clean the transducer.
To clean the reservoir
01
Remove the reservoir cover. Then re-
move the vapour chimney and the va-
pour chimney inlet nozzle from the
reservoir by turning these two el-
ements counterclockwise.
02
Clean the basin with water using a soft
cloth and vinegar if there are foam
OR limescale deposits on the inside.
03
If the foam covers the safety
switch, add a few drops of vinegar
and clean it with a brush.
04
Rinse the basin in clean water.
05
Replace the chimney inlet nozzle,
ensuring that the triangle marking corre-
sponds to that of the reservoir and then
turn the nozzle clockwise. Then replace
the chimney on the water reservoir.
