Warning:
DESPITE THE SAFETY MECHANISM WHICH STOPS THE TRANSDUCER WORKING, AVOID AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
LEAVING THE DEVICE PLUGGED IN WHEN NOT IN USE.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE:
If the water is hard - in other words, if it contains too much calcium and magnesium - it can leave a «white powder» in
the appliance and cause heavy scaling on the surface of the tank, on the transducer (ceramic tablet which generates
ultrasounds) and on the internal walls of the water tank. Build-up on the surface of the transducer prevents the appliance
from working correctly.
We recommend:
1) Using boiled water which has been allowed to cool or distilled water each time,
2) cleaning the tank every 3 days and the transducer every week,
3) changing the water in the tank regularly so that it is fresh, not leaving it in the appliance for more than 2 days,
4) Cleaning the appliance and making sure that all its components are completely dry when not in use.
To clean the transducer:
1) Pour 2 to 5 drops of vinegar on its surface and leave for 2 to 5 minutes.
2) Brush the scale off the surface with a soft brush. Do not use a hard tool to scratch at the surface.
3) Rinse the transducer with clear water.
4) Do not use soap or other alkaline substances to clean the transducer.
