Unhook With BX80 Two Lever Hitch
WARNING
!
To avoid serious injury or death: The Snow Pusher is back
heavy and can tip over backwards easily once unhooked.
Always unhook unit on level ground with support blocks under
the skid shoes at the back to tip the unit forward. Never unhook
unit with back of unit facing downhill.
Refer to Figure 1-7 on page 14:

2. Reduce tractor engine speed to an idle and park
tractor and Snow Pusher on level, solid ground.
3. Lower Snow Pusher until the back of skid shoes are
resting on support blocks (#10) and front of skid
shoes are resting on the ground.
4. Shut tractor down properly. Refer to
5. Pull lock handles (B) up on the two lever hitch to allow
lock pins (C) to clear lower slots (D) of the bolt-on
hitch plates (#2).
6. Start tractor then slowly rotate top of two lever hitch
plate (B) forward while slowly lowering the loader arms
and backing the tractor away from the implement.
a. Back tractor up enough to allow the face and top
of two lever hitch plate (B) to separate from the
Snow Pusher’s bolt-on hitch plates (#2).

Once two lever hitch and tractor are clear of the
Snow Pusher, rotate the two lever hitch vertical and
raise the loader arms high enough for safe travel.

To avoid serious injury or death:

Check to see that the implement is in good operating
condition, with the bolt-on hitch plates properly installed
and secured to the implement. An improperly attached unit
can fall and be thrown toward bystanders and/or operator.
•
Check hitch fit-up frequently to make sure loader hitch is
properly positioned under the implement’s top angle bar(s)
with lock handles locked down with lock pins fully seated in
the lower slots.
To hook the SPL05 Snow Pusher to a BX80 tractor
equipped with a two lever hitch, the “BX to Two Lever
Hitch Adapter option” must be installed on the Snow
Pusher. See
“Installing the BX Two Lever Hitch
1. If attached, unhook preexisting attachment from the
Kubota BX80 tractor. Refer to your Kubota Operator’s
Manual for detailed instructions.
2. Store the preexisting lower hitch pins and center
hitch pin with preexisting attachment.
3. Carefully back away from the Snow Pusher and
rotate top of quick hitch back until vertical.
4. Shut tractor down properly. Refer to
5. Check for and remove any debris in the hitch point
areas before hooking up the Snow Pusher.
6. Rotate top of two lever hitch forward and lower loader
arms so top of loader hitch plates (A) are positioned
at a height to fit under the top angle bars (E).

Slowly drive tractor forward until top of loader hitch
plates (A) are positioned under top angle bars (E).
8. Slowly raise loader arms and rotate top of two lever
hitch back until top of loader hitch plates (A) are fully
seated under the top angle bars (E).
9. Without lowering the implement to the ground, shut
tractor down properly. Refer to
10. Push down on the two lever hitch lock handles (B).
IMPORTANT:
Ensure the face of the two lever hitch
plate is in full contact with the face of the Snow
Pusher’s bolt-on hitch plates (#2).
IMPORTANT:
Ensure lock handles (B) are locked
down and lock pins (C) are fully pushed down into
lower slots (D) of the bolt-on hitch plates (#2).
