3-6 SINGLE WHEELS
3-6.1
Slide tube adapter (2-1/4" dia. x 7-1/2"
long) over hub spindle
(See Figure 3-6)
.
3-6.2
Align inner hole in adapter with hole in
spindle and install 3/8" x 2" roll pin.
3-6.3
Insert spindle and adapter into lift arm,
align holes and install 3/8" x 3-1/2" cap
screw, locknut
(See Figure 3-7)

3-6.4
Attach wheels to hubs with wheel bolts
shipped in hubs. Tighten to 80 ft-lb (108
N×m).
3-7 WALKING BEAMS
3-7.1
Insert wheel spindles into walking beam .
Align holes and install 3/8" x 2-1/2" roll pin,
one in each wheel spindle
(See Figure 3-8)
.
Note: Use hole “A” for normal tire clearance or
hole “B” for additional clearance.
3-7.2
Insert walking beam into rockshaft lift arm
with beam toward outside of frame. Align
holes and install 3/8" x 3-1/2" cap screw,
locknut
(See Figure 3-9)
.
3-7.3
Attach wheels to hubs with wheel bolts
shipped in hubs. Tighten to 80 ft-lb (108
N×m).
